Each season the Fly Tying Class in Pittsburgh moves from the Hatchery Scene at Warwick Pond to their first stream fishing experience. Now they hear words like drift, mending and proper presentation ring in the air.

Family Day at Warwick
The Pittsburgh Chapter of Family Tyes sponsored a "Family Day" for students and families that visited our booth at the Penn’s Woods West Trout Unlimited Cabin Fever Show. These students tied a fly, caught a fish on our fishing simulator, and cast in our casting contest. The event took place at Duquesne Light's Warwick pond.

Beaver Creek Pictures for 2007
The Beaver Creek Anglers Association and Stream Keeper, Daryl Bassett annually invite a group of Family Tyes Members to Beaver Creek for what is often their first streamside fly fishing experience. It rained heavily on Saturday and was sunny and clear on Sunday but no one stopped fishing.
