Family Tyes is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization that connects youth, schools, families, communities and businesses. Family Tyes utilizes a shared interest in fly-fishing as the vehicle to enhance family relationships and youth development. Family Tyes offers:
Club Program - An in school or after school membership program, that organizes classes in Rod Building, Fly Tying, and Fishing. We sponsor local, overnight, and Montana Dream Trips for youth and their families.

Mentor Program - For volunteers to support our club efforts.

Physical Education Program - A curriculum and equipment package designed to teach fly-fishing in Physical Education. This package meets national standards and places equipment, supplies, textbooks, lessons and all supplemental materials for teachers to offer a complete fly-fishing experience. We assist teachers in the completion of Federal Fishing Grant Applications and can equipment your whole program.

Student Business Program - Club members experience real business experiences during clinics, seminars, and business enterprises throughout the country. They make presentations, interact with the public, create newsletters, brochures and are currently teaching the very classes they took many years before.

Outreach Program - Club members introduce thousands of students and families to fly fishing and fly tying by working in conjunction with Fishing Shows, Scouts, Safari Club, Ruff Grouse Society and others.
